Benefits of Google Reviews To Boost Your Business

Posted 13 Jun '22

What's the value of Google Reviews for business?

Referral Marketing is one of the strongest marketing strategies you can have as it is word of mouth and can really help a business grow. More and more customers are looking at Google Reviews as a guide to whether they should do business with an organisation.

The Power of Google Reviews.

Reviews are one of the most powerful tools available for customers. Whether your reviews are left on the website of the business, on their Facebook page, or, most importantly, on a Google Review, companies have to be extremely diligent with the feedback.

As more and more businesses subscribe to Google My Business profile, we will see even more profiles, all looking for that rating of 5!

People (End-users) increasingly rely on the experience others have with a business they intend to use. Too many bad reviews, and they will run a mile.

However, if you see that businesses reply to good and bad reviews maturely and positively, you are more inclined to spend your hard-earned cash with them.

Google Search LOVES Reviews

Google will give your brand visibility a sufficient boost. The search engine prefers local businesses that have high reviews and is much more likely to raise your profile and ranking.

Google Reviews that are done at the premises also rank higher than those reviews completed off-site.

PLEASE NOTE: That you can only give a Google review if you are signed in with Google Account, which usually means you will have a Gmail email address.

How Do I Leave a Google Review?

Writing a Google review is extremely easy. Don't forget that a kind word shared is worth its weight in Gold for your business too - so whenever you can - PAY IT FORWARD!

Search for the business by typing in the Business name + Suburb. This will usually bring them up on the right-hand side of Google Search. This is called the “knowledge panel” for that business and is also that business’s Google My Business listing.
